Irrfan Khan (7 January 1967 – 29 April 2020), one of the most charismatic actors in bollywood passes away today on 29 April 2020, due to cancer disease since Feb 2018. The actor, who was famously known for his work in Life of Pi, Maqbool, Paan Singh Tomar, The Lunchbox, Jurassic World, Inferno and more, died in a Mumbai hospital. The actor had announced that he’d been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018. He worked on 49 films from Bollywood and Hollywood.
His acting style was characteristically his own and always been immensely admirable and inspiring! His mother died recently on 25th April 2020, and this could be another possible reason of his sudden death.

Irrfan Khan started working in bollywood movies from 1988 with cameo in Salaam Bombay by Mira Nair! Before entering in films, the legedary actor acted in numerous television serials, including Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Sara Jahan Hamara, Banegi Apni Baat, Chandrakanta, Shrikant (Doordarshan), AnooGoonj on Doordarshan, Star Bestsellers (Star Plus), and Sparsh.
First Movie as Leading Actor
Irrfan Khan first film in Bollywood with lead role was Rog, released in 2005. Even after his success in Bollywood, he has continued his television career. He anchored a show Mano Ya Na Mano (airing on Star One). He hosted another programme named Kyaa Kahein which was similar to Mano Ya Na Mano.

One of the brilliant actor of bollywood cinemas, Irrfan Khan shared his disease wwith the world on 5th, March 2018. He said, “Sometimes you wake up with a jolt with life sharing you up. The last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease. I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me an we are workking it out the best way possible. In trying times, please don’t speculate as I will myself share with you my story within a week – ten days when the further investigations come with a conclusive diagnosis. Till then, wish the best for me!”
On 16th, March 2018, he told that “The journey is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes.”
He returned in India after recovering from disease on 3rd Apr 2019. He shared with the world his thoughts on receiving immense love and support that helped him in the process of healing cancer disease.
