Happy New Year (HNY) is upcoming con movie. Happy New Year is Shahrukh Khan movie with writer-director Farah Khan and producer Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Cillies Entertainment. Happy New Year worldwide distributor is Yash Raj Films. It seems to be Shahrukh’s style movie in Farah Khan style. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the other main leads of movie are Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff.

The trailer is good enough but as Charlie said at the end of the trailer “Picture abhi baki hai mere dost”, the fans are expecting more to hear soon. Farah Khan again coming with SRK in this movie Happy New Year after previous hits Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. Another interesting fact of the movie is that it has three words name.

It will be another hit thieves movie of the year after KICK in recent past, and Dhoom 3 in starting of 2014 (though it was released on 2013 year end). It’s Red Chillies Entertainment presentation so one can expect to have world class action and sequences in the movie. Charlie and his team are best in bollywood except the talented newbie Vivaan Shah, so it will definitely meet expectations of everyone. The only loose point seems to be the script of the movie. The whole movie is plotted around 6 loosers who stay together to steal most expensive diamond in the world. They later found themselves in another problem. It would be intersting to see their entry, later becoming a team, stealing the diamond and fighting together to win the game.

We also hope that actors like Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukon, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, and Sonu Sood would have done a great job. Music of movie sounds good. Songs are expected to make place in chartbusters.

Shah Rukh Khan as Charlie

You will definitely love Shahrukh Khan make-overs in the trailer. Charlie is a great leader of his Indiawale group. He knows his target, smart enough to find search the smarties, bring them together, prepare for the target and win the game. It would be lovely to watch him in the movie.

Deepika Padukone as Mohini

Happy New Year will be another great movie of Deepika Padukone. She is looking gorgeous in all the scenes, especially her funny English talk. She is know for different and unique always in her style.

Abhishek Bachchan as Nandu Bhide

Abhishek Bachchan, akka dhoom series favorite inspector, is playing the role of thief this time. He is another character in the movie will be shown talking funny English apart from Deepika Padukone.

Sonu Sood as Jag

Sonu Sood is repeating the role of body-builder with lesser brain. Such characters can easily create comic situations. You will like him again this time.

Boman Irani really deserves more space in trailer. His comic scene with SRK is excellent. We are sure he will be creating more laughter in the movie.

But the most important point is these robbers will again rob your heart. It is very early to say if Happy New Year will or will not break the record made by ‘KICK’ this year or ‘Dhoom 3’ last year but it will be the best entertainer of the year like ‘Chennai Express’ last year. As usual, Shahrukh haters will criticize the movie more than any professional critic.

Expectations: From the trailer and team of Happy New Year, the movie is expected to cross the phycological benchmark of Rs250 crores in domestic market. The expected slab of the movie globally is Rs 350 – 400 crores.
