The domestic box office collection for Dhoom 3 of Day 1 was Rs36.22 crore, and Day 2 collection was Rs.33.36 crores making total of 2 Days collection Rs69.58 crores (Rs36.22 crores + Rs33.36 crores). It already includes Tamil and Telugu languages version.
Dhoom 3 is creating its dhoom also in International market. The number of screens in International arena is more then 750 screens choosen for Dhoom 3 release. In New Zealand, Dhoom 3 total was NZ$ 144,016 (Rs73.21 lakh), while Chennai Express earned NZ$ 123,478 (Rs62.73 lakh). In Pakistan also, the film has created record by earning PKR 2.23 crores (Rs1.30 crores) on first day. In UAE-GCC market, the film collection was $1,279,000 (Rs7.93 crores). It is the biggest opening ever. In US-Canada market, Dhoom 3 raked in $1 million.

Dhoom 3 is first IMAX format movie in India, and thus expected to get more screens worldwide. More screen means more profit to th franchisee. As of Sunday, the movie is playing in 40 Imax locations in 14 territories, including a handful of sites in India and 12 locations in the U.S., where it is splitting screens with The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
IMAX Entertainment CEO Greg Foster said it is the widest release in Imax history for a non-Hollywood title. He expects more theaters to be added based on the film’s initial performance, noting that each showing is averaging $25,000 per screen.
