Bollywood has seen so many small and heavy budget movies rocking in year 2018, while the many others could not make it to match the expectations of viewers and followers. Ranveer Kapoor starrer Sanju has been biggest box office collector in the year, and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho was the most profitable venture of the year 2018. Another interesting fact that Ranveer Singh started at the beginning of the year with a sold hit Padmaavat, and he also ended it with another solid hit Simmba.
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer STREE was a huge hit of the year. Kartik Aryan starrer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (SKTKS) catched viewers attention, and Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi became another dark horse of the year. Tiger Shroff starrer action flick Baaghi 2 easily gets it’s place in the list.
Apart from the above interesting movies, there were Ajay Devgn starrer Raid, Akshay Kumar’s GOLD, and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 was other interesting movies to makes a place in the list but all of them performed below expectations.
Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan and Salman’s Race 3 was expected to do huge but they were far below the expectations of the viewers and fans. Though they touched the list of 100 crs club but they are more of leading actors fans following and marketing efforts. The direction and content of these movies were not satisfactory that these movies were struggling at box office window after first weekend.
