Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan – as the name suggest, is a movie based on life of Second Prime Minister of Independent INDIA, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. As everybody knows, Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan was not just a slogan or a movement, but it was the vision of Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, which united the whole India against the biggest problems of his time – food availability and borders security.
The movie trailer seems more like a documentary, and claimed to be a tribute to him. But, in today’s India, one of bigger problems is that everybody claims about passed away great-men that they were near to their ideology in their lives.
