Haider is upcoming Kashmir based movie starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in main leads. Tabu is playing role of Shahid Kapoor’s mother in the movie. Haider is directed and co-produced by multi-talented Vishal Bhardwaj. Another co-producer is Siddharth Roy Kapur (Vidya Balan’s personal SRK). Haider movie is written by Vishal Bhardwaj and Basharat Peer. Story is adaption of William Shakespeare’s Hemlet, and is based on Kashmir.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s adaption of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hemlet’, Haider – story of a young man who returns home to Kashmir on receiving news of his father’s disappearance. Not only does he learn that security forces have detained his father for harboring militants, but that his mother is in a relationship with his very own uncle. Haider’s uncle loves his mother, and wants to take hold on everything including Haider. And intense drama follows between mother and son. Haider have to save himself, and also take revenge.
Haider is mad enough to take revenge. He seems to believe and doubt both, his mother regarding his father’s murder. Shraddha Kapoor is looking beautiful and pretty in Haider’s love. We hope she will again get a fair chance to prove her acting skills in this movie.
