Filmistaan is upcoming bollywood flick releasing on 6th June 2014. It’s a comedy movie featuring how an assistant director, repeatedly fails to become an actor, get trapped by a Pakistan based terrorist group, and his life there in bollywood style . It’s a comedy movie but also contain Indo-Pak relation content with a bollywood struggler, who seems obsessed with over-acting.

Struggling actor Sunny is addictive to over-acting. For this reason, he is rejected in every screen test, he appears. He works as an assistant director, but his over-acting auditions goes side-by-side.
One day, he goes to remote areas in Rajasthan to work on a documentary with an American crew. But there… one day a terrorist group kidnaps him instead of an American crew-member. Now, Sunny is in enemy border amidst guns and pathani-clad guards. The terrorist group decides to keep him hostage until they locate their original target.
And then, film shows how cinema can be the universal panacea for co-existence.
