The movie is the struggle of a common man, a human being, a father to get the recognition and respect he deserves.
The movie is moving around the life of Joshi Ji – an honest BMC worker. The character of Joshi Ji is played by Anupam Kher. Joshi Ji spending his life in struggle to attain the respect, he think he deserve good respect from his family, colleagues and the whole society.
His children, Shekhar (played by Divyendu Sharma) and Shubham (played by Manu Rishi), never understand the importance of values of their father. The values which are life line of their father, the values their father always tries to inculcate onto them
The film is produced by Saurabh Tewari and Abhinav Shukla, makers of the daily soaps Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Do Dil Ek Jaan, under their banner Nautanki Films, and is directed by debutant Ravindra Gautam who has helmed the television series Madhubala…, Uttaran and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
Ekeess Topon Ki Salami release date is to be announced and expected to be in mid-2014, The cast includes Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma, Manu Rishi, Aditi Sharma and Rajesh Sharma with Neha Dhupia doing a special cameo.
