Shahrukh Khan who was trying best to stay away from any controversy since past few months, has come again in the limelight today with undervalued shares of KKR.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan over irregularities in valuing shares of his Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). An audit by the ED concluded that the shares of KKR were undervalued during a transfer transaction, indicating a Forex violation of around 100 crore.
The audit done by Choksi & Choksi for the ED concluded that the transfer of shares between Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd (KRSPL) and Jay Mehta-owned Sea Island Investment (SIIL) was undervalued by the entities involved.
People around and the fans of Shahrukh Khan are not happy with the incident and looking forward for the happening. This may have adverse impact on SRK upcoming movies box office success and the brand name or could be helpful otherwise.
