Shonali Bose directed Kalki Koechlin upcoming movie Margarita With A Straw, which is recently renamed back to its original name. Margarita with a Straw is starring Kalki Koechlin, Revathi, Sayani Gupta and Kuljeet Singh in main leads.
Movie already made its world premium at 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. In this movie, Kalki played the character of a girl with Cerebral Palsy, which is a group of permanent movement problems.

Lalia is a girl with Cerebral Palsy. Multi-talented Lalia is a student, writer and music composer. She got admission at New York University, and moves there with her mother. There she falls in love with a young activist, Khanum.
Now, Lalia is on a self-discovery (including sexual discovery) journey, which complicates her life, and her relationship with her family and friends.
