Here are the Comedy Drama Movies releasing soon this year:
1. Jayesh Bhai Jordaar
Jayeshbhai Jordaar is an upcoming social comedy film which starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role of a Gujarati man who believes in equal rights between males and females in the society. Shalini Pandey will seen in opposite of Ranveer Singh which also marks his Hindi film debut. Along with them this movie also features Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah and Deeksha Joshi.
This social drama comedy is presented by Yash Raj Films, directed by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Aditya Chopra.
Earlier Jayeshbhai Jordaar initially announced to release on Gandhi Jayanti 2020, but due to covid pandemic this movie is now scheduled to release on 27 Aug 2021 in theatres.
2. Bunty Aur Babli 2
After the success of crime comedy film Bunty aur Babli that featured Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in 2005, now the filmmakers came back after 15 years to launched it’s second part. Yash Raj Films came again with same actress Rani Mukerji but this time with Saif Ali Khan. Siddhant Chaturvedi and newcomer Sharvari Wagh plays the role of their children in this movie.
This crime comedy movie is directed by Varun V. Sharma, which also marks his direction debut and produced by same Aditya Chopra, who had also produced it’s first part.
After this movie got postponed due to pandemic, now Bunty aur Babli 2 is set to release on 23 April 2021.
3. Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar
Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra got the new release date of their upcoming black comedy film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. This movie is an intriguing tale about a man and woman who represent two completely different individually. This movie will marks the third collaboration between them.
DBP presents Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee, which also features Pankaj Tripathi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghubir Yadav and many other cast.
After facing the complication of covid now this film is scheduled to release on 19 March 2021.
4. Laal Singh Chaddha
The very finest actor Amir Khan’s upcoming comedy drama film will be expected to release at the eve of 2021 Christmas. This film is earlier initially scheduled for Christmas 2020 release but delayed due to such pandemic.
Laal Singh Chaddha is adapted from the 1994 American film Forrest Gump. Along with Aamir Khan this film also features Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh.
Paramount Pictures presents Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Radhika Chaudhari.
