This comedy film was scheduled to release in cinemas this year but could not due to Covid 19 effects everywhere. Coolie No.1 2020 is remake of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer Coolie No.1 (released 15 years ago on 30 June 1995). David Dhawan is director of both the movies. Film is produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh, Vashu Bhagnani, and Jackky Bhagnani. There is also Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Sahil Vaid playing vital roles in the movie.
